A Very Special Reveal {Brunswick family photographer}

I am so glad to finally be able to share these images with you because they are just too cute for words!

A few months ago, I met with Brandi, Brian and their adorable little girl for a special family portrait session.  So what was so special about it?  Well, when their daughter was just 7 months old, this sweet little family of three learned they were actually a family of four!

They wanted to share the news of their pregnancy with their family and friends with extra cute photos.  We met at the most unexpected of places: a long dirt road, just perfect for the cowgirl boots I knew Brandi would be wearing.  When they arrived, I knew they were going to be beautiful, as usual...but ohmygosh!  A baby in a pink tutu with a shirt announcing she is going to be a big sister?!  A miniature white wicker chair?  I will admit...I could not stop taking photos!  Can you blame me?  And what a big girl she is getting to be...learning to walk and everything!  I just adore those extra big steps she's taking at this point...with help from mom & dad, of course.

Brandi is now 16 weeks pregnant - with a baby girl!! - and she is just radiant!  Congratulations to one of the most beautiful growing families I have had the pleasure of photographing!  I'm so happy for you!

Josh 2.0 {Brunswick portrait photographer}

It wasn't that long ago that I shared with you a sneak peek into Josh's first headshot session with me.  So it surprised me when he called ready for more!  But as soon as I saw him, I knew why new headshots were a must.  Allow me to proudly introduce the new Josh - a triple threat of an actor, equipped with a fabulous new agent and now 30lbs thinner!  Isn't he a hottie?

Josh sings, dances and acts on stage and screen.  He's no stranger to the Golden Isles theater scene, but I'm sure it'll be hard to keep him here for much longer if his recent resume is any hint of what is on the horizon for him.  Josh has developed a nice S.A.G. portfolio over the last few years (that's Screen Actors' Guild, for you non-actor folk) and is currently filming a horror film titled The Legend of Seven Toe Maggie, due to be released in 2013.

Besides his abundance of talent, did I mention what an awesome person this guy is?  It's always a pleasure to work with Josh on the stage...and anytime I can get him in front of my camera, I'm super happy.  We had a fabulous time during his shoot, and if you know anything about us, then you know we always like to mix work with a little fun.

Here's a sneak peek into Josh's actor headshot session.  Take a good look at him now because soon you'll be able to say, "I knew him when..."

If you've ever had headshots taken, you know it can get a little redundant.  No worries.  Josh threw a few curveballs my way to keep things fun...except I don't think he expected me to "catch" them.  :)

Josh, I adore you.  Best wishes for a kick ass career!  If anyone deserves it...it's YOU!

Lindsey {Portraits}

It wasn't that long ago that I had the opportunity to photograph Lindsey, husband Josh, and their two four-legged "children."  (That shoot was to die for!)  This time around, Lindsey decided she would go it alone, as she will be using her portraits as a surprise for someone in her family this Christmas.  (Shhh!)

Recently having finished her very first marathon, she showed up to her session looking amazing!  And thankfully, she was up for anything...including lying in the middle of the street...because her images turned out spectacular!

I want to thank Lindsey for supporting my Images for a Cure campaign, in which 100% of her session fee was donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!  During our session, I learned that her grandma is a breast cancer survivor.  Lindsey's donation will see to it that in the near future all women will be cured of this disease!

Kim & Marvis {Family Portraits}

Meet Kim and her son, Marvis!  I must admit - at first, I wasn't sure just how into this session Marvis was going to go.  But after the first 5 minutes, two things were clear: Kim and Marvis have an amazingly awesome bond...and Marvis is the sweetest, most fun 13-year-old I have ever met!  He was quick to get in on helping me pick out some poses for his mom and him - and all of them were great!  (New Jennifer Leigh Photography assistant in the making?)

Enjoy a sneak peek into the awesomeness that took place during this shoot.  And thank you to this dynamic duo for supporting my Images for a Cure campaign, in which 100% of their session fee was donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!

Abby & Girls {Portraits}

When I have a client ask if he or she can bring along their four-legged family members, my answer is always an immediate, excited, "Yes!"  Abby met me on Saint Simons Island for a family session with her two "children," Savannah and Mia.  Both doggies are rescues and full of sweet personality.  Mia is a gentle and independent one.  Savannah, on the other hand, is clearly a Momma's girl.  All three ladies were beautiful and up for anything on our shoot.  Below is a sneak peek into their session, including some outtakes starring Savannah!

Everything was going so well.  And then...THIS happened:

HAHA!  Poor girl.  You can read on her face that she was a little bit embarrassed about the whole incident.  Don't worry...Momma will fix it!
